Whiskeytown Lake.

Whiskeytown Lake sits high on a high hill, just West of Redding, California. Its expansive crystal blue waters are perhaps its defining feature, as the dam traps translucent snowmelt from the nearby Klamath Mountains.

Come during springtime to see waterfalls cascading, and the surrounding area come to life with the infusion of the crisp cold water from the freshly melted snow.
